MADE IN PARIS
With its workshops installed in Paris since its creation, PINEL ET PINEL has always valued local production. Each product from its collections is conceived and made in its Parisian workshops located in the 20th district.
PINEL ET PINEL not only favors local employment but also contributes to the local economy in a responsible manner.
LEATHER GOODS
Most leather materials are usually from Europe. The House also prioritizes French or even European tanning. Leather is the main material used for the making of bags and trunks in its workshops. The use of this material produces 1.5 tons of leftover leather.
In partnership with two associations, La Maison d’Argent and La Réserve des Arts, PINEL ET PINEL recycles and gives a second life to all leftover leather. Selling this leftover leather at a very low price enables apprentice leath-er workers and young craftsmen to learn and create their own leather goods.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
At PINEL ET PINEL, suppliers are also selected based on their environmental commitment. We select suppliers and materials that guarantee the limitation of chemical products use, water treatment and waste. To this end, the main suppliers work with respect of the REACH regulations aiming at reducing dangerous substances in the production of materials.
Additionally, we pay careful attention to the use of harmful substances our craftsmen may use in our workshops. These products are recycled in collaboration with a state-certified organization.
